Full Steam Ahead!
Last weekend saw the much anticipated Chester-le Street Steam Fair's return, after its cancellation last year due to the ongoing pandemic. What an amazing weekend it was!
Here at BM Stafford we have a rich history, dating back to the days of steam power in our heritage fleet and we love to take part in events like this in our local area. Above, you can see our 1937 Sentinel 4, delivering a bailing machine to the event at Lambton Castle Estate.
The event was a chance to look back and reminisce, as there were hundreds of examples of vehicles and machines from times past. From huge powerful steam engines, to classic cars and motorbikes, not to mention, stationary engines, miniature steam engines, vintage tractors, classic commercial vehicles and even military modes of transport.
We were proud to be a part of this successful event and look forward to future opportunities to share our heritage.
