BM Stafford History
BM Stafford & Sons Ltd as it is now known, began its operation in 1935 when Benjamin Milburn Stafford took over his soon to be wife’s, family steam engine business, Mark Wakefield Contractor. Like many haulage companies, BM Stafford has its beginnings in farming but over time as the farming industry changed, became a leading company in road haulage in the North East.
Over 85 years and 3 generations later, we pride ourselves on being a truly modern logistics company with exceptional customer service and state of the art vehicles. We are proud of our heritage and look forward to what we hope will be another 85 years in this fantastic industry.
